The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Education Web Workgroup (EEWW) consists of environmental education coordinators and Web designers from various EPA regions and headquarters. Their goal is to make Web-based environmental education materials more accessible as well as educationally and technologically sound.

In order to maintain EPA's environmental education portal sites, the EEWW:

  • Evaluates new sites to determine whether they are appropriate to be included as links
  • Reviews current trends in technology and technology education to ensure that the Web sites meet the needs of the users, and
  • Updates site design when necessary

Submit your Environmental Education Web site to be reviewed by the EEWW

Keep in mind that an Environmental Education (EE) Web site is different from an Environmental Information (EI) Web site. For example, an EE Web site may require interactivity to promote education and the development of critical skills, rather than simply presenting information.
