Watershed assessment and planning on the Calaveras River watershed is currently being managed jointly by Stockton East Water District and Calaveras County Water District. A technical advisory committee consisting of regulatory agency personnel provides technical input and guidance to the watershed planning process.

A stakeholder group provides stakeholder input and guidance to the watershed planning process.
